Вообще, когда речь идёт о русской литературе, большинство людей подразумевают под этим классику XVIII-XX веков, не заслуженно забывая всё то, что создавалось русскими книжниками до этого. А между тем, чтение нашей древней литературы позволяет погрузится в мир давно ушедших столетий и прочувствовать русскую историю!
Чтобы лучше понять то, о чём я говорю, лучше всего прочитать главу из книги Лихачева Д.С. Великое наследие. Классические произведения литературы Древней Руси – Первые семьсот лет русской литературы.
В Сети можно найти много библиотек с древнерусской литературой. В частности, я рекомендую следующие сайты:
